The White Horse Inn - The Restaurant
We like to know where our food comes from. That’s why we always try to use fresh, locally sourced ingredients in every dish we prepare.
We offer a separate lunchtime menu from Monday to Saturday which is made up of a selection of our favourites and the most popular dishes we serve. Our evening menu has additional dishes giving great variety of choice. The Sunday Carvery offers three roast meats every week along with three vegetables, roast and boiled potatoes. Follow this with a choice of desserts. There are excellent value set price options for one or two courses. In addition to our normal menus, we serve a selection of dishes from our specials menu which changes daily as well as a children’s menu for our younger guests. Our menus often vary to represent the ingredients that are in season at the time.
Our wine list has been compiled to be concise yet diverse, in terms of both origin and grape variety. All of our distinctive wines are available by the glass or the bottle, and have been specially selected with choice and value in mind. We also serve a selection of Real Ales, brewed by Joule’s in their Market Drayton brewery; the Real Ales list has more details on the ales we are currently serving.
Reservation Policy
We take reservations for tables in the seating area of the pub and the newly built dining area, but we also have a number of tables opposite the bar which are available on a “first come, first served” basis and may be occupied by people just drinking, or by people who wish to dine. So, even when we are fully booked, there is always a possibility of being able to get one of the other tables. Please contact us for more details.
